Moving To Koreatown: Life At Rosetta Apartments

June 17, 2022

The Rosetta apartments for rent in Koreatown, Los Angeles are a step above her fellow apartment buildings on Mariposa in K-town. The Rosetta apartments offer a beautiful view of Koreatown, LA, and on a clear day, you can even see Downtown LA!

Famed LA architect Max Maltzman designed the building in 1929.

Who Is Max Maltzman?

Max Maltzman is one of Los Angeles’ premier architects remembered for his grand, high-style Los Angeles apartments and hotels. Artists, architectural aficionados, and admirers flock to his buildings as much for the richness of the experience as for its visual delight. He is remembered not only for his architectural creations but for being one of the first Jewish architects to set up his practice in Los Angeles.

The maxim goes “to admire a Maltzman building is one thing, to live in one is an entirely different experience.” The Rosetta is no exception. These beautifully renovated apartments still retain the charm and dreaminess that Mr. Maltzman intended.

The apartments have high ceilings with rounded corners, the original hardwood floors, tall windows, and built-in dressing rooms. These are just a few of the 1920s details that make the Rosetta a dream to live in.

Amenities you can enjoy at The Rosetta Apartment:

  • A formal lobby with beautiful ceiling beams
  • A short walk to Western/Wilshire and Vermont/Wilshire Metro stations
  • Exposed brick
  • Hardwood floors
  • Vintage tile & lighting
  • Original porcelain bathtubs
  • Stainless steel appliances
  • Gas stoves
  • Built-in dressing rooms
  • Built-in closets/dressers
  • On-site laundry
  • Secure entry
  • A 2-minute drive to the heart of Koreatown nightlife
  • Great city views from most apartments

We love Koreatown and have a few different buildings in the neighborhood to choose from. It has such a great variety of businesses you can frequent, amazing food, and fun entertainment.

Starting from one location in Koreatown, Los Angeles in 1996, BCD now has over 13 branches which are all run individually with great care and dedication by Mrs. Lee and her long-time staff. She continues to perfect the menu and retain the secret recipe of BCD’s soon tofu soup base.
