Celebrate the End of 2020 – Say Bye Bye to the Worst Year In History

November 4, 2020

We can’t say for certain but 2020 is surely among one of the worst years in history, right? While we have no guarantees for 2021, we are holding out hope (and sending out all the good juju) that it will be far better than this year. What we do know for sure, is that we will be celebrating the end of 2020 and saying bye bye and good riddance. New Years Eve is going to look a little different this year…because 2020…but that doesn’t mean we can’t send this year off in style.

We have spent most of the year in our Los Angeles apartments and will likely spend NYE in them as well, but we’ve got some ideas to make sure it’s still a festive night!

Have a virtual New Year’s Eve bash!

Send out fun and festive digital invitations to your guests. Encourage everyone to dress to the nines, just as they would any other New Years Eve. During the virtual party, you can watch the ball drop together, play games, and talk about what you are hopeful for as we forge ahead into a new year!

Watch a virtual concert!

We have all missed live music so much this year, but there are still ways to get a little taste of it, all from the comfort of your couch. Musicians  have been doing livestreams and ticketed virtual concerts and many are planning on doing just that on New Years Eve. One of the biggest shows will be KISS’s extravagant, yet Covid safe, New Years Eve concert, streaming live from Dubai. Word on the street is that they’ll be trying to break the Guinness World Record for biggest ever pyro-show.

Host a Netflix or Prime Watch Party!

For a more low-key evening, invite your friends to a watch party and marathon your favorite TV show or movies! The watch parties allow for participants to chat while watching so it’s basically like you are in the same room. To make it feel even more like you’re together, have pizza delivered to your Hollywood apartment and your friends’ apartments!

If you use any of these ideas, tag us in your beautiful Los Angeles apartment New Years Eve Bash pictures! We would love to see them and celebrate with you.
